Descripción del empleo

Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.

About the Role

We are seeking a Field Applications Engineering Manager to lead the deployment and integration of our humanoid robot solutions at customer facilities in North America. The role involves managing a team of Field Applications Engineers, planning and resourcing deployments, conducting on-site visits to customer facilities, leading demos, managing deployment projects as well as acting as the accountable person for deployment acceptance testing, site integration and robot operations. This position requires leadership, technical expertise, flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach.

 What You'll Do
  • Manage the North America deployment team, including 1:1s, performance, mentoring and coaching.

  • Allocate and schedule the team, resources and support required to meet deployment milestones.

  • Lead the deployment and implementation of humanoid robot solutions at customer locations.

  • Oversee the planning, preparation and execution of on-site Proof of Concept (PoC) and pilot projects, both short and long-term.

  • Integrate engineering development activities into deployment projects, working with technical leaders across the company to manage delivery risks.

  • Supervise visits to customer facilities to gather data and assess requirements.

  • Supervise the construction and use of test environments in our lab for deployment reliability and performance testing. Define lab test and site acceptance testing strategies.

  • Lead product demonstrations in the lab for customers, investors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Represent the company at expos and industry events, delivering live product demos.

  • Manage the testing of product releases and their delivery to customer sites.

  • Oversee resolution of on-site issues during deployment and operations.

  • Prioritise product data and customer feedback for engineering and product teams; implement improvements to deployment efficiency and site deployment processes.

  • Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting activities, with remote engineering support.

  • Report deployment status and risks to senior stakeholders across the company.

  • Work with Business Development, Engineering and Product Management on customer use case analysis, solution development, and deployment strategies.

 What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field) or equivalent technical qualification.

  • Experience leading robotics or automation deployment projects at customer sites, including concept/pilot projects.

  • Experience managing a team of engineers in demanding environments.

  • Technical knowledge of robotics site installation and hardware/software configuration.

  • Track record of overseeing the resolution of technical issues on site under pressure.

  • Experience presenting and delivering live product demonstrations.

  • Experience working across engineering, product, and commercial teams to deliver customer projects.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience managing customer stakeholders on-site.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in humanoid, AMR or manipulation-based robotics deployment.

  • Experience with software integration and sensor-based automation.

  • Hands-on skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, assembly, and maintenance.

  • Experience with CAD modelling, 3D scanning, or digital twin technology.

  • Experience with site commissioning and acceptance.

  • Experience with automation business case development and presales activity.

What We Offer
  • Comprehensive health coverage for US‑based employees, including fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, with virtual care and employee assistance resources.

  • Meaningful time off to rest and recharge: 23 days of PTO (accrued), separate sick leave, and paid company holidays.

  • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer match.

  • Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.

  • Free daily catered lunch, snacks, and drinks in‑office.

  • Collaboration with top‑tier engineers, researchers, and product experts in AI and robotics.

  • Freedom to influence the product and own key initiatives.

For this role in Massachusetts, the expected base salary range is $150K–$180K USD per year; your placement in that range depends on how your experience maps to our internal leveling.
