Few things are more frustrating than applying to a job that has already closed. That is why Joonow keeps checking jobs where they were originally posted.
What "Checked at the source" means
Each job page shows Checked at the source with the last time we looked at the original site. We read the job lists of partner sites and systems several times a day and update whatever changed: title, description, location, salary and deadline.
When a job leaves Joonow
A job is closed when:
- it disappears from the original site in two complete checks in a row (one absence could be a temporary glitch on that site, so we wait for the second);
- the application deadline set by the company passes;
- it stays online for too long without being renewed.
If the original site goes down or sends a list much smaller than usual, we close nothing until we understand what happened. That way no good job disappears by mistake.
What happens to the link of a closed job
If you open the link of a job that has closed, you will see the notice This job is closed and a list of similar jobs that are still open. After a few weeks, the address stops existing.
Salary only when the company provides it
Joonow shows a salary only when the employer includes it in the job. We do not make estimates or present averages as if they were the job's salary. When there is no salary, the job simply does not show an amount.
To find jobs with a salary, sort by Highest salary: jobs without a stated salary go to the end of the list.
